  • Can I view surveillance footage using my smartphone?

    Yes, you can view all surveillance footage from your iPhone, and Android devices. The footage access is only provided to a manager or owner of the property or commercial space. Where they can monitor business from anywhere 24 hours 7 days a week.

  • Is it hard to operate a DVR?

    No. DVR or Digital Video Recorder has a simple function and is easy to run. You can archive or create live videos simply by selecting the right button.

  • What maintenance is required on a video surveillance system?

    The maintenance is limited and the cameras and lenses should be kept clean for better video quality.

  • Where is my surveillance footage saved?

    The surveillance videos are saved in two places, one on the camera itself in an SD Memory Card, and another on a corresponding NVR or network video recorder. SD Memory Cards are effective but the data can be retrieved physically. The space on the SD card is relatively huge and can store week’s worth of video footage.

  • Can I take my security system with me when I move to my office location?

  • What is IP Camera?

    IP camera or Internet Protocol camera is a digital video system that transmits data over a network. These systems work with mobile devices so that you can view your security feed from anywhere with an Internet connection. IP cameras may also be referred to as network cameras or webcams.

  • How Do IP Surveillance Cameras Work?

    Traditional security system lets data be transmitted through a cable to a DVR (digital video recorder). But an IP Surveillance Camera helps transmit videos.It’s connected to the network like any external IT equipment like a printer. IP Cameras contain storage in-unit and transmit video to a device, also known as network video recorder NVR. Digital cameras and IP cameras can capture images but the transmission method is different. The quality of image won’t be compromised with an IP camera but its resolution is better.

  • How Are IP Cameras Different from CCTV Cameras?

    IP camera is a type of digital video camera used for surveillance that transmits data via a network known as Ethernet link or Internet Protocol camera. IP camera provides a better security with a number of additional features than any traditional CCTV camera does. Whereas, CCTV Camera is a type of digital video camera used for surveillance which transmits a signal for observation on monitor.

  • What Components Will I Need for This System?

    For an IP surveillance system, you’ll need the actual IP cameras, an NVR or other type of storage system, accessories such as a microphones and speakers generally will come built into the cameras so additional parts will not be required.
